Oh my goodness…this one made me cry! Gosh, I think about this everyday with Ayva. I want to make sure her childhood is full of dirt and discovery, and although it goes so fast, I'm cherishing each day!!
This one tugs at my heart too! Dirt and Discovery…I like that!
This is beautiful!! I love it!
Thank you so much, Jeanne! Don't you love these weekly haiku sessions? So glad Brandi started the Tuesday Linkup…I hope more people join!
love this haiku. Also, love the picture with the water in motion.
Thank you (keikikreations…is that you lisa?)! Isn't that water splash neat? I guess I should be giving my husband some photo credits!
Ahhh…the sweet simple joys of childhood. So much to discover.
@Jessica, it's so fun to experience and re-experience that joy with the kids! These pictures show my kids trying to capture tadpoles and frogs which I never did as a kid, so it was fun to discover right along with them. They keep me young at the same time they give me grey hairs!
wow….what a powerful us of a haiku! It did make me teary….
Aww, I know what you mean Heidi…I'm thinking of printing this one out as a reminder on those tough days!
