Have I told you my philosophy about children and timeliness? Basically, I’ve learned that however many children you have…multiply that number by the amount of time you think something will take in order to get a more realistic deadline. For me, that means multiplying everything by 4.
So, for example, while I would’ve liked to get our thank-you cards out 1 week after Aumies #1 and #4′s combined birthday party, sadly, it’s taken me 4 weeks. Happily, I am very stoked on these cards I made at Shutterfly and want to show them off! Hmmm, wonder how long it will take to fill these out and mail them…

Thanks! I try to have fun with these cards every year! Now I just have to get my son to write something personal in each one, have my daughter do a little scribble, and done! Probably in time for Aumie #3's bday…
