I have some big news for you today!
I’m not pregnant…
A truly momentous occasion occurred many weeks ago, but in a solemn effort not to jinx anything, I kept my mouth shut. Believe me, I wanted to shout on the roof tops, or you know, tweet about it, but I held back. Just to be sure.
Yes, the day has finally come, after nearly 8 years and 4 kids to be exact, when I can confidently announce that the last of my babies is officially potty-trained!

Exciting right? And bittersweet maybe? Well, just a tad. It’s not like I’m done wiping bums or anything!

That is amazing news!!! I am so happy for you all! I am in the throes of potty training my youngest right now, only my second child and can’t imagine what it was like to potty train 4! Proud of you!

Hip hip hooray…can’t believe I kept it to myself for so long! We really should have the girls Skype soon, I bet they’d talk up a storm now that they’re older.
bittersweet moments aren’t they? my little is off to kindergarten in the fall and there are no more to come. . .some days I’m sad and sometimes I feel amazingly liberated as if there may be some glimmer of life on the far off horizon. . .LOL

How much did you pay her to say that
I still ask her daily if she wears diapers (because I’m still in shock/disbelief) and when I ask her why not, she says because I said on the video that I don’t. Love her.

We’re almost there. N is pooping and peeing in the potty mostly, but I have to remember to put her on, which is tough as I usually forget. But, I’ve been getting better. So, I’m hoping that a month from now, she’ll be fully potty trained. We’ll see. Any tips you can share?
Yes, my biggest tip is not forgetting, which we were doing too. Once we made it a point to remind throughout the day and really encourage regular potty breaks, like before nap and bedtime AND after waking up, it made a huge difference.
