My Marine Park Video Contest

You know how I love a good contest, right? Once you win a car, there’s simply no turning back. The Monterey Bay Sanctuary Foundation recently held a video contest for folks who love their Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), or in other words, the beach! Is there any other reason to live in Santa Cruz? Yes, there are tons, but the beach is numero uno for our family, so we entered. In answer to the question “How do you enjoy your marine park?” my husband and kids made this video¬†featuring one of our favorites, Natural Bridges State Beach. Not only did they win second place, they created something that will help educate and increase awareness of California’s statewide network of MPAs. Good job, Aumies!

Oh, I can’t wait to get some free time and take Noah to come see you guys! I know he’d have a blast at the park!

Congratulations! That voice of your littlest one…so precious.

I have yet to see the Pacific ocean. I think I would lose my mind to see a seal in real life in the wild.

Congratulations! I really love how so much of the wildlife is featured in the video. My kids would love boarding on those waves too!
